This Alfanar stranded copper wire (CU/PVC) is engineered for reliable performance in the demanding climate of the United Arab Emirates. With a 1.5 mm² cross-section and 450/750V rating, it meets the latest BS EN 50525-2-31, IEC 60227-3, and SASO-GSO-IEC 60227-3 standards, ensuring compliance with international safety and quality benchmarks.
The heat-resistant PVC insulation (rated 90°C) provides excellent protection against electric current leakage, shocks, abrasion, and harmful UV rays, while also being highly resistant to water and moisture—crucial for humid coastal environments like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The stranded copper conductor (7 wires, each 0.52 mm diameter) offers flexibility and durability, with a maximum DC resistance of 12.1 ohm/km at 20°C.
