Product description
These HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipes, manufactured by Almona Factory in accordance with DIN 8074/8075, are engineered for reliable water transmission in Qatar's demanding environment. With a PE100 material grade and a nominal pressure of 12.5 bar, they deliver exceptional strength and durability for municipal and industrial water networks.
Designed to withstand high operating pressures, these pipes offer a maintenance-free service life of up to 50 years, reducing long-term operational costs. Their resistance to UV radiation and chemical corrosion (pH 2โ12) ensures consistent performance under Qatar's intense sun and varied water conditions. The flexibility of the pipe and its welded joints also provides superior earthquake resistance, a key consideration for infrastructure resilience.
Available in a range of sizes, this 280 mm outside diameter pipe features an SDR 11 ratio, a wall thickness of 25.4 mm, and a weight of 20.5 kg per meter. Each 12-meter length comes in black with blue stripes for easy identification. Custom lengths are available upon request to suit project-specific needs across Doha, Al Rayyan, and Al Wakrah.
