Awazel Primer (D41) is an asphalt primer that improves the adhesion of bituminous materials, it acts as a binder for dust particles, enhancing surface stability, it treats concrete and metal surfaces to make them more compatible with bituminous waterproofing materials, suitable for waterproofing and damp-proofing on concrete surfaces, exterior walls, buildings, metal surfaces, and asphalt surfaces, it is also used as a primer coat for applying membranes or liquid asphalts and asphalt products.

- Saybolt Furol Viscosity at 25°C, sec: 25-125
- Distillation, volume % of the primer: 30-35% (min) (up to 225°C), 60-65% (max) (up to 360°C)
- Penetration at 25°C: 20-50 dmm
- Solubility in trichloroethylene: 99% (min)
- Water content: 0.5% (max)
