Single core stranded aluminum armored cable (AL/XLPE/AWA/PVC), Conductor. produced by Alfanar Company according to the International Electrotechnical Commission standard (IEC 60502-1). Armored with layer of aluminum wires (AWA) to give it mechanical strength to protect it from external pressures that fall on the cable. Insulated with XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), which offers an exceptional combination of properties that make it the ideal choice for a wide range of power and energy transmission applications due to its excellent electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties, where it is characterized by its ability to withstand high temperatures up to 90°C for extended periods without compromising performance. It also offers excellent resistance to moisture, corrosion, and chemicals, ensuring long-term safety of use. Additionally, sheathed in PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material, which provides extra protection for the cable against shocks, abrasion, corrosion, and prevents harmful UV rays from damaging the cable. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications where there is a risk of mechanical damage.
