Armored stranded aluminum power cable (AL/XLPE/STA/PVC), produced by BAHRA Cables Company according to the International Electrotechnical Commission standard (BS 5467). Armored with galvanized double steel tape (STA) to give it mechanical strength to protect it from external pressures that fall on the cable. Insulated with XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), which offers an exceptional combination of properties that make it the ideal choice for a wide range of power and energy transmission applications due to its excellent electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties, where it is characterized by its ability to withstand high temperatures up to 90Β°C for extended periods without compromising performance. It also offers excellent resistance to moisture, corrosion, and chemicals, ensuring long-term safety of use. Additionally, sheathed with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material, which provides extra protection for the cable against shocks, abrasion, corrosion, and prevents harmful UV rays from damaging the cable. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications where there is a risk of mechanical damage. Available in different shapes, sizes and conductor ratings to meet diverse application requirements.
