Low smoke halogen free armored power cable (CU/XLPE/STA/LSHF), 3 core stranded copper conductor, Produced by Riyadh Cables Company, Armored with layer of double steel tape (STA) to give it mechanical strength to protect it from external pressures that fall on the cable. Insulated with XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) which provides a unique combination of strength, flexibility and reliability making them suitable for a diverse range of applications. It can withstand high temperatures up to 90°C for extended periods without compromising performance. The cable also withstands harsh environmental conditions, including moisture, corrosion and chemicals, chloride-free, making it environmentally friendly. Also, it is sheathed with an outer layer of low smoke halogen-free compound (LSHF), non-toxic and environmentally friendly as it does not contain halogens and does not produce dense smoke or harmful fumes in case of fire. Making it ideal for use in public buildings, industrial areas, infrastructure projects, and densely populated areas where fire and smoke emissions pose a potential threat to equipment and life. It generally works to reduce the risks caused by the after-effects of electrical fire.
