Stranded Aluminum armoured cable (AL/XLPE/STA/LSHF), Produced by Alfanar Cables Company. Armored with double layers of galvanized steel tapes (STA) to give it mechanical strength to protect it from external pressures that fall on the cable. Insulated with XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) which provides a unique combination of strength, flexibility and reliability making them suitable for a diverse range of applications. It can withstand high temperatures up to 90°C for extended periods without compromising performance. The cable also withstands harsh environmental conditions, including moisture, corrosion and chemicals, making it ideal for outdoor use. Chloride-free, making it environmentally friendly. Also, it is sheathed with an outer layer of a low smoke halogen-free compound (LSHF), minimizes smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire, therefore, it is suitable for use in fixed installations, in areas where smoke and acid gas evolution could pose a hazard to personnel or sensitive equipment in schools, hospitals, hotels, shopping centers, subways, etc., and in applications where mechanical protection is required or mechanical damages are expected to occur.
