Product description
High-Performance PVC Pressure Fittings
Engineered for demanding water supply and irrigation networks, these PVC high-pressure fittings adhere strictly to BS EN 1452:3 and BS 4346 standards. Designed for a maximum operating pressure of PN 15, they provide a robust solution for transporting potable water, sewage, and industrial fluids under high-pressure conditions.
The fittings feature a smooth internal bore to minimize friction loss and ensure optimal flow efficiency. Manufactured from high-grade PVC-U material, they offer excellent resistance to corrosion, chemical attack, and abrasion, ensuring a long service life even in harsh environmental conditions. The socket-and-spigot design allows for quick and secure solvent cement joining, creating strong, permanent joints that are resistant to leakage.
Key Features & Benefits
- Standard Compliance: Fully compliant with BS EN 1452:3 for PVC-U fittings and BS 4346 for dimensions and tolerances.
- Pressure Rating: Suitable for PN 15 applications, ensuring reliability in high-pressure water networks.
- Durability: High resistance to corrosion, scaling, and chemical degradation compared to metal alternatives.
- Easy Installation: Standardized socket-and-spigot design facilitates fast assembly using solvent cement.
- Hydraulic Efficiency: Smooth interior walls reduce head loss and maintain consistent water flow.
Typical Applications
These fittings are widely used in municipal water supply systems, agricultural irrigation networks, industrial process piping, and drainage systems where high-pressure integrity and material longevity are critical.
