The SpECtite Swellseal Bentobar (Saline Grade) is a high-performance hydrophilic waterstop designed to seal construction joints in concrete structures exposed to saline or high-chloride environments. Unlike standard bentonite waterstops which may degrade in salty water, this specific grade is formulated to maintain its swelling capacity and sealing integrity even when immersed in seawater or brine solutions.
Upon contact with moisture, the sodium bentonite core swells, expanding to fill the joint and creating a tight, impermeable barrier.
